23-year-old phenom, Alexis Morrast is a voice for this millennium. With her emotionally satisfying and age-defying approach to jazz, R&B, gospel and neo soul, she has a sound that is fresh, exciting, and all her own.

This Newark, NJ native began singing in church at the age of three, leading to her first solo in the adult choir at seven. Since then, Alexis has gone on to perform on many stages including the U.S. OPEN, the Central Jersey Jazz Festivals, the Rutgers University Garden Summer Solstice Jazz & Wine, the South Jazz Kitchen, Warmdaddy's in Philly, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Dizzy's Coca-Cola Club, and the world-renowned APOLLO THEATRE emerging as a two-time Amateur Night Winner and later returning as their Special Guest during Harlem Week Festival.

In February 2017 she was back on the APOLLO stage and named the winner of the nationally televised FOXTV “ShowTime at the Apollo” hosted by Steve Harvey.

Alexis has also been seen and heard on XM Real Jazz Radio and WBGO Jazz88, at The Kennedy Center, the Barclays Center, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall for the Paul McCartney tribute abroad, as well as touring in Europe and South Africa.

She has been featured and interviewed in several articles from The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Hot House Jazz, and Forbes Magazine, to the front pages of international newspapers. She played young Ella in the documentary Ella Fitzgerald Just One of Those Things, which aired on Netflix and has also starred in the PBS docuseries “The Gospel Train.”

When she’s not performing, Alexis continues to study her craft at the prestigious Berklee School of Music for she believes there’s “Life in Every Note!”
